BYRDSTOWN, TN — State Representative Kelly Keisling (R-Byrdstown) has announced he will seek reelection to the Tennessee House of Representatives in 2026.
"It continues to be an honor to serve the people of the 38th House District," said Representative Keisling. "My family and I are grateful for the support we have received over the years, and I humbly ask for your vote."
Currently serving his eighth term in the Tennessee General Assembly, Keisling remains committed to the priorities that matter most to Upper Cumberland families. He has consistently supported investments in Tennessee students, teachers, and public schools, championing initiatives to raise teacher pay, increase educational resources, and expand vocational and technical training opportunities.
Keisling has been a strong advocate for rural Tennessee, working to expand broadband access, support local economic development, and ensure that state resources reach the communities that need them most. He continues to prioritize bringing jobs and opportunities to the 38th District.
Fiscal responsibility remains a cornerstone of Keisling's service. Every legislative session, he has voted in support of a balanced budget, helping Tennessee maintain the lowest debt per capita in the nation, no personal income tax on wages and salaries, and no transportation debt.
Keisling is pro-life and has been honored with the endorsement of Tennessee Right to Life. A champion of the Second Amendment, he is a member of the National Rifle Association and the Tennessee Firearms Association.
"We have accomplished a great deal together, but there is still important work ahead to ensure our communities in Clay, Fentress, Macon, Pickett, and Scott counties remain the best place to live, work, raise a family, and retire," said Representative Keisling. "I am grateful for your trust and look forward to continuing my service in the Tennessee General Assembly."
Representative Keisling serves as a member of the Commerce Committee, Banking and Consumer Affairs Subcommittee, Judiciary Committee, and Children and Family Affairs Subcommittee for the 114th General Assembly.
